Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct care for people in their homes.


Responsibilities:

·Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care

·Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psycho-social changes in the patient’s condition

·Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members

·Documents the patient’s care plan using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions

·Performs interventions according to identified priorities, care plan, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard

·Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical care plan, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions

·Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current nursing license for the state in which the nurse practices or compact state
  • One (1) year nursing experience in a long term acute care facility preferred
  • Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals(including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills proficiency in the English language may be required
