Maxim Healthcare's Skills Advancement Training Program offers Registered Nurses a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and build confidence through personalized mentorship and real-world patient care experiences.

You'll work alongside experienced Maxim clinicians who provide one-on-one guidance, real-time feedback, and ongoing support as you develop critical nursing skills in the homecare setting.

Whether you're a newer nurse or looking to refresh and expand your clinical expertise, this program is designed to help you succeed.

What You'll Learn

Through direct patient care and hands-on training, you'll gain valuable experience in:

? Patient Assessment & Care Management

? Ventilator Care

? Tracheostomy (Trach) Management

? G-Tube Care

? Medication Administration

? Clinical Decision-Making & Critical Thinking

? Care Coordination & Documentation

What You'll Do

As a participant in the Skills Advancement Training Program, you will:

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patient progress and document responses to interventions
  • Identify and communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate supervisor or physician
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and coordinate care effectively
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Promote a safe care environment while adhering to infection control and universal precaution standards
  • Build confidence in delivering skilled nursing care through hands-on experience and mentorship

Qualifications

? Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

? Active Registered Nurse (RN) License

? Current CPR Certification

? Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)

? Passion for learning and delivering exceptional patient care
